Ensuring Perfection:
To start, I want everything to be just perfect for your Professional Newborn Photo Session. I kindly request all my clients to inform me in writing on the day they return home with their baby. Knowing that due dates may vary, this allows us to collaborate on finding a suitable date for your session. I schedule only one Newborn Photo Shoot per day, ensuring a relaxed atmosphere and ample time to create stunning images.
Ideal Timing for Sessions:
Ideally, I aim to schedule sessions when your baby is between 7 and 30 days old. This period ensures that babies are still in their sleepy and flexible phase, allowing for those dreamy poses. However, if your baby is older than 4 weeks, no need to worry! I am fully trained to capture beautiful images of older babies, extending up to 3 months of age.
Comfort of Your Home:
Your Essex Newborn Photography Session unfolds in the comfort of your own home. I create the perfect environment, bringing everything needed for your baby's first photos.
Time and Flexibility:
I prioritise ample time for feeding and comforting your baby during the session, planning to be there for approximately 1.5 - 4 hours, depending on the variety of images we aim to create. Each baby is unique, and I am dedicated to capturing every precious moment, no matter how long it takes.
Optimal Natural Light:
To maximise the benefits of natural light, all in-home sessions commence at 10 am. This timing ensures we capture the best-quality images in the beautiful natural light.
Set-Up Details:
I set up in a small area of your home near a window, and if necessary, I bring a small space heater for warmth. Maintaining a comfortable room temperature between 25C-27C is a priority for your newborn's well-being. To accommodate the photography setup, please prepare approximately 2.5m x 2.5m of clear space.
Safety First:
The safety and comfort of your baby are my utmost priorities. I adhere to safe posing techniques, always having a supporting hand on or very close to your baby. If a pose isn't suitable, a gentle transition to another pose is ensured.
