Greetings, wonderful readers! Today, I'm thrilled to invite you into the intimate narrative of my journey, revealing the heartfelt reasons that propelled me into the realm of Maternity and Newborn Photography here in Essex.
From the very outset, my aspiration was clear - to craft something profoundly special for individuals, a keepsake they could embrace for years, cherishing it eternally. This yearning for creativity steered me down an unexpected path, starting during my A levels where I delved into the realm of art and design. Two years of formal training in interior design ignited the flame of my passion for aesthetics and visual allure.
Simultaneously, my deep-seated love for connecting with people led me to a 12-year-long professional journey in health and social care, a commitment to aiding others through life's intricate challenges.
Life however has its twists. A personal tragedy struck when a close relative succumbed to an accidental house fire. Amidst the wreckage, the sole solace I found was in a cherished box filled with printed photographs. In that heart-wrenching moment, the profound value of tangible memories dawned on me. This sorrowful event prompted a profound reflection on my values, particularly how to preserve family history for posterity.
In 2018, I embarked on the path to actualise this newfound purpose, completing formal training in general photography, laying the groundwork for what was to come.
Then, the world faced the grasp of the Covid pandemic, a time that coincided with my own health battles. Amidst these challenges, my contemplations on life's direction and my true passion intensified. It was in these moments of introspection that my inner voice resolutely echoed - to preserve family history and capture life's extraordinary moments in the most exquisite way possible.
But the journey didn't halt there. Since 2020, I immersed myself in an intensive specialist training program for Maternity and Newborn Photography. This immersive training armed me with the expertise, skills and confidence to delicately handle life's most precious gifts - Newborns.
I ardently believe that every expectant mother deserves resplendent and tailor-made Maternity and Newborn images, serving as timeless reminders of those precious moments destined to be cherished across generations.
